Christopher M. Tucker is a 25-year veteran of the District of Columbia Fire and
EMS Department where he currently holds the rank of Lieutenant. He is also a volunteer with the
Goodwill Fire Company located in Centreville, Maryland and has held the rank of Lieutenant,
Captain, Deputy Chief, Fire Chief and is currently serving on the Board of Directors.

 
Within Chris’ career and volunteer experience he has taken numerous classes for management,
leadership, accountability, and managing budgets. He is a certified Emergency Medical
Technician in both Washington DC and Maryland. He has attended the National Fire Academy
for Chemistry for Emergency Responders.  He is currently responsible for the fire crew assigned
to him for their safety, wellbeing and advancement along with managing emergency incidents.  
 

Chris has been an active member of the Delmarva Sportsman Association since 2018 and had the
pleasure of serving on the by-law review committee.  He currently assists with DSA lady’s
workshops and is a new team member for the clubs Maryland DNR Hunter Safety classes. When
possible, he also assists at the club with other instructors in concealed carry classes and assorted
medical classes.
 

Currently Chris is a certified NRA range safety officer and NRA basic pistol instructor. Chris is
also a certified instructor by the State of Maryland to teach concealed carry classes, a Stop the
Bleed certified instructor, and a NROI Steel Challenge Range Officer.

In his spare time Chris currently shoots Steel Challenge, GPA and Battle Rifle competitions at
DSA and across the Delmarva region.
